You certainly don’t need to enter into a subscription if you don’t want to. Many of our customers like a subscription so that they can set-and-forget, and not have to remember to place an order before the weekly Sunday 11pm cut off. But you can always place a one time only purchase at checkout if it’s more suitable to you and your lifestyle.
Simply login, and click 'Order Now' and you will be taken to the main menu to complete your shopping for the week. Once you are ready to check out, under 'Select Plan' simply choose 'One time purchase only'. This will only charge you for the order you are placing. You can view this order in your account dashboard under past orders.
Once an order has been processed, you're not able to cancel your order. After all orders are placed on a Sunday, we go directly to our organic farmers and suppliers to confirm our order amounts. This is then picked, packed and delivered to our kitchen where everything is peeled, washed and prepared by our team of chefs, by hand. As we do not add any additives or preservatives into our meals, we prepare and cook everything right up until it is ready for delivery. Once your meals are cooked, they are sealed and cooled, ready to be packed for delivery. Then our delivery company schedules your box for contactless delivery via cold courier.
We're committed to limiting food waste and our impact on the environment. If we were to cancel your order after our Sunday 11pm cut-off, the purchased ingredients and made-meals would contibute to food waste and not allign with our values.

Shipping and delivery
Not at all! You do not need to be home for your Garden of Vegan delivery! The third party carriers we use will leave our packages at your door without a signature required to ensure that the box is delivered in a timely manner, since our meals are perishable. We design our packaging to withstand a few hours outside, so your box may be left on your doorstep for a short while if you are out and about.
Shipping cost is $24.95 for SA, TAS, WA, FNQ & Regional Areas. For all other delivery areas it's $18.95. Shipping is free for orders over $250!
If you add a mobile number to your shipping information, you’ll receive an SMS with a tracking link the evening prior to your delivery. This tracking link is updated live and provides you with a 2 hour window ETA and your proof of delivery photos once your meals have been delivered. You will also receive an SMS at the time of delivery. The driver won't call you unless absolutely necessary.
If your select the overnight delivery window between 12:00am - 7am, the driver won’t contact you or use your intercom as they don’t want to wake you up! Please make sure you have clear delivery instructions left for them so that they know the best place to leave your meals.
Unless you provide alternative delivery instructions for the driver, the default delivery drop spot is at your front door. If the driver isn't able for any reason to follow your delivery instructions, your box of goodies will be left in the default drop zone.
While the driver will open your gate to access your front doorstep if needed, they will never enter your property including opening the front door or garage door. Drivers are unable to open boxes for you or remove items as the box must remain sealed until you receive it.
Our meals and nutrition
Yes! There are no animal products or bi-products used in our meals. Our meals are 100% plant-based and vegan, but you don't have to be vegan to eat them! Our meals are nutritionally balanced and a wholesome addition to any diet.
You can find out more about why we promote a plant-based diet here.
Yes! All our meals are gluten free. We understand that not everyone is gluten intolerant and that gluten isn't inherently bad for you. But we want to make our meals as accessible as possible, so for those suffering from celiac disease and those with gluten sensitivities, we have designed a menu free from gluten.
We don’t use gluten or wheat in any of our meals, nor in our handling, preparation or cooking of our food. However, we aren’t certified with coeliac Australia or any other gluten free certifier. For this reason we can’t give any guarantees with our product nor are we allowed to. Gluten may be handled in different areas of the kitchen, but never during our cook days.
Before our cooking process begins our kitchen is always cleaned down and prepared at the highest standard, using correct allergen management processes and practices. During our cooking process no gluten is ever present or handled.
Yes! We use 100% certified organic ingredients.
You can find out more about why we choose organic here.
Yes! All our meals are 100% oil free. Oil is highly refined, processed and is not a wholefood, and nutrients are best absorbed from wholefoods! It's high in saturated fat, very high in kilojoules and it's not a whole-food. With regard to the nutrition package of oils (even olive oil!), the negatives just far outweigh the positives.
Many of the processes used to make oils also have a negative impact on our precious environment due to water usage and destructive mono-culturing necessary for the large volume of the vegetable or fruit used to make a single drop of oil. To make 1 litre of extra virgin olive oil, you need 5 to 6kg of olives. That's about 5200 to 8000 olives!
Our personal favourite is in on the Cooktop: Empty your meal into a saucepan with a tablespoon of water and heat on high until hot.
Microwave: Pierce the film lid, and heat for 3-4 minutes, depending on your microwave power.
Oven: Place your meal into an oven-safe container and heat at 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
GoRaw don't use any additives or preservatives in their mousses, so they recommend storing their product in the freezer. Thaw your GoRaw mousse when you're ready to eat and once thawed, it should be consumed within 7 days. You can find out more about our friends at GoRaw and their fantastic products here.
Produce Boxes
We aren't able to customise our produce boxes just yet. The contents of our produce boxes is dependent on what's seasonally available, so there may be some seasons where certain fruits or vegetables are more likely to arrive in your produce box. Ask our friendly Customer Care team for guidance on what's seasonally available each month!
You can find our signature juice and smoothie recipes on our website.
Missing an ingredient? They're fully customisable, so you can always replace the missing ingredient with something similar or remove it altogether. Our team love to blend/juice up a storm, so if you need recommendations or tips, send us a message!
Packing and freshness
Here at Garden of Vegan, we are conscious and aware of our impact on the environment. All of our packaging is 100% recyclable and we focus on minimising waste at every turn. Our packaging is also 100% BPA free and we do not use any virgin plastic in the production of our meal trays. Learn more here.
We care about our planet, so you don’t have to worry about our packaging or processes. We package our delivery boxes with non-toxic ice packs and 100% recyclable insulation! The boxes have been carefully designed using recycled cardboard to ensure we don't need to use any additional plastic tape to secure them. If any tape is used, it is plastic free. The gel inside the ice packs is non-toxic, water soluble, and safe for septic systems and the plastic encasing for them is recyclable.
Your Garden of Vegan delivery leaves our cold room and is transported via cold courier until it reaches your door step. We design our packaging to withstand a few hours outside, so your box may be left on your doorstep for a short while if you are out and about. Your box is fully insulated and has an ice pack for added security in case you are not home at the time of delivery.
Please note: When you receive your Garden of Vegan package, it is not unusual for your ice packs to be partially melted. You would just want to make sure that the meals are cool to the touch, which is the tell-tale sign that all is well! Once you have received your meals, they will have their individual expiry dates on the back.
We don't use any additives or preservatives in our meals - we prefer food made with real ingredients, not numbers. So how do we keep your meals so fresh? We use a special type of packaging with a modified atmosphere.
Modifying the atmosphere involves altering the composition of the internal atmosphere of the packaging to improve the longevity of your meals. Modified atmosphere packaging can extend the practical shelf life of fresh foods by 200% or more compared to packaging in air. The modification process lowers the amount of oxygen, changing it from 20.9% to 0% in order to slow down the growth of aerobic organisms and the speed of oxidation reactions. This process is safe and allows food to last longer without the use of preservatives.
All you need to do to dispose of your ice pack is add a teaspoon of salt to the liquid to pour it down the drain. Once empty, you can add the ice pack to your soft plastics and take them to your nearest REDcycle disposal location.
Our ice packs are 100% recyclable, but you can also repurpose them as an eski cooler, to keep you cool on hot days or to ice an injury.
NDIS
If you're Plan Managed or Self Managed, you can order through Garden of Vegan! NDIS eligible participants can pay for the ‘food cost’ portion of their order or the full cost. A tax invoice is provided to you after you place an order with the NDIS breakdown of food cost, preparation cost and delivery cost.
As an eligible NDIS participant, you have two options for payment: full payment or food-cost only payment.
Full payment: The invoice for this order will be sent to your Plan Manager and they will reimburse you for the preparation and delivery costs (all but the food cost portion of the order).
This option will process your order immediately, and provided it is placed before our Sunday 11pm cut off, delivery will be received in the same week.
You will also receive a copy of this invoice for your records, so if you're self managed, you will be able to use this invoice when lodging a Payment Request through the NDIS.
Food cost only: This is also called a co-payment. The food cost covers only the cost of raw ingredients and is all you will pay out of pocket at checkout.
An NDIS suitable invoice for this order will be sent automatically to your Plan Manager and they will pay Garden of Vegan the owing balance (preparation and delivery costs). You will also receive an NDIS invoice with a breakdown of the food cost, the preparation cost, and the delivery fee after your order is placed for your records.
Please note: Your order will only be scheduled for delivery once the remaining preparation and delivery costs have been paid by your Plan Manager. Please allow 5 business days for these funds to arrive into Garden of Vegan's account.
If you are on the NDIS and choose to pay for your invoice in full, you will be added to our next cook run and your meal box will be delivered the following week. You can see when the next available delivery day is by using the postcode search on our home page.
If you have selected to pay for the ‘food cost’ only portion of your invoice, your order will go into a ‘pending’ stage. Your order will stay in this stage until the balance of your invoice is paid for by your NDIS Plan Manager. When we have received payment for the balance, your order will be added to our next available cook run.
Not yet - but we are working on becoming one! Although we are not an official registered NDIS Provider, we do have lots of customers who are on the NDIS and are benefitting from ordering our meals. NDIS Participants who have a Plan Manager, or a Self Managed Plan will receive an NDIS suitable tax invoice with a breakdown of their food cost, preparation cost, and the delivery fee after placing each order.
