    Our planet is suffering.

Mother nature is not happy with us.

Towards the end of 2019 we have seen devastating fires across Australia which have taken multiple human lives with hundreds of homes gone. Innocent animal lives have been lost, posing a massive threat to our native flora and fauna. Across the globe, horrendous floods have taken over parts of the UK, dangerous snow has caused havoc in the USA and let’s not forget about the fires in the Amazon in August.

It’s time to listen to her warnings.
Climate change is happening and its up to us to do something about it.

The easiest, simplest thing we can do right away is… change our diet.

A study released in 2010 by the United Nations stated that a global shift towards a vegan diet is essential to help combat climate change.

Animal agriculture is currently the leading cause of climate change. Did you know that more greenhouse gas emissions are released daily from animal agriculture when compared to the entire worlds fuel emissions from transportation? This just sounds crazy right?
We are the only species destroying our planet for the consumption of animal products which we don’t actually need for our survival. We can get all our nutrients in abundance direct from plants.

Animal agriculture is also the leading cause of deforestation resulting in habitat loss and extinction, as well as water pollution world-wide.

Did you know that over 56 billion land animals and more than a trillion marine animals are killed each year? These animals are suffering inhumanly for human consumption and to contribute to our planet’s devastation.

So, have you herd of Veganuary? Veganuary was first founded in 2014 by a UK non-for-profit organisation encouraging people all around the world to try being vegan for the entire month of January.

Thousands of people have taken the pledge for the past 5 years and have gone Vegan for 31 days.

This year #veganuary2020 is looking like it is going to be the biggest year yet with one person signing up every 15 seconds.

This means more and more people are choosing to fight for their health, fight for the animals and help save our planet, by choosing plant-based alternatives on the end of their folks.

    The Veganuary Mission

“Our vision is simple; we want a vegan world. A world without animal farms and slaughterhouses. A world where food production does not decimate forests, pollute rivers and oceans, exacerbate climate change, and drive wild animal populations to extinction.”
    – Veganuary 2019

The founders of Veganuary aim to support and inspire people all around the world to try vegan, making it an easy and life changing transition. They provide you with free education, an abundance of delicious plant-based recipes and inspiration, a platform on social media to connect with like minded people and so much more!

    If 350,000 people worldwide go vegan the month of January;
-41,200 Tonnes of CO2EQ will be saved
-160 Tonnes of P043-EQ saved from water ways
-2.5 million litres of water will be saved
-More than one million animals lives will be saved

By going vegan for the month of January you will ultimately contribute to a global movement, driving corporate change by choosing more sustainable and compassionate food choices that will end animal suffering whilst protecting the planet and improving our health in the process.

We encourage you to support Veganuary, take the pledge and empower more purpose through plants.

The impact you will have on your health and on the planet in just 31 days, is definitely worth it.
