Even the best of us eating a wholefood plant-based diet need some new inspiration and motivation at times.
At Garden of Vegan we are proud of our co-founder Benny, who has one of the most regimented and nutrient rich diets that we have ever seen. He rarely strays off course and in fact never really wants to. He really believes in feeding his body with the best quality organic plant-based wholefoods for his health, for the health of the planet and for the animals.
His natural instinct and craving for seasonal wholefoods each day from Mother Nature, rather than from a packet, is a testament to his character. To put it simply, this way of eating not only meets Benny’s biological needs as a human, but allows him to stay fit with a higher quality of health and overall well-being compared to those who don’t eat a predominately wholefood, plant-based diet.
His passion for health is infectious. He has installed Garden of Vegan with their own personal gym at their headquarters, including many interesting gadgets and equipment to play with. He has even inspired our junior workers to eat raw green beans during break times and dance up a storm between tasks.
His motivation is fueled by his results and constant health improvements. He has dramatically improved his athletic performance since going WFPB, even as he approaches 40 years old.
“I’m the fittest and healthiest I have ever been and the only thing that has changed over the past 3 years is my age and my diet”. Says Benny.
He believes that thanks to his conscious lifestyle choices, he feels stronger, has increased his lean muscle mass, has improved mental focus and feels more connected to the environment around him.
He is living proof, you are what you eat.
We wanted to share with you all, a day in the life of Benny.
Did you know that Benny has been a personal trainer for over 16 years and has never counted his calories?
Benny believes in listening to the body. Eating mindfully and consuming organic plant-based wholefoods in abundance.
He eats a 65-70% raw plant-based diet and gets an abundance of calories and essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients daily, eating the colours of the rainbow, free of any man made supplements.
