Organic Quinoa is a gluten-free seed that provides all the essential amino acids needed by the human body. It is pronounced 'keen-wa' and is packed with key vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and nourishing nutrients.
Fun Fact: Quinoa is technically not a grain, it is classified as a seed or pseudo-grain.
Quinoa has a delicious and earthy flavour, with a nutty aroma. It has a light fluffy texture once cooked. The perfect item to have in the pantry weekly to add quality protein to your diet. Add Quinoa to your salads, curries, stews or to the side of any dish.

This organic quinoa is Certified Organic, is preservative and additive free and is non-GMO.

Store in an airtight glass container in a cool and dry location that is void from direct sunlight.
Refrigeration is recommended in warm climates.
This will last up to 18 months when stored correctly. Please see the Best Before Date.

We suggest rinsing quinoa before cooking.
Add your quinoa to a pot of boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes until or until al dente. You will know its ready when you see little ‘tails’ appear and the seed swells.
Drain remaining water and fluff to serve.
1 cup of dried quinoa will cook to about three cups.

Quinoa can be served hot or cold. It is a great alternative to rice or gluten based products. It can be used to accompany stir-fries, in salads, with curries or in porridge. It is also great in baking, particularly cakes, muffins and pancakes.
