    Store in an airtight glass container in a cool and dry location that is void from direct sunlight.

    We suggest soaking your green lentils for 30 minutes prior to cooking. Make sure you drain the soaking water and rinse thoroughly.
    Green lentils can be cooked on the stove top.
    Bring a pot of water to the boil with ratio 1:3. 1 part soaked green lentils to 3 parts water. Let boil and simmer on medium heat for approximately 30 minutes or until tender.

    Green lentils are popular in India and used in a lot of dahls. They are a great alternative to meat and can be used to make veggie patties, added to soups or stews, tossed through salads and enjoyed cold, or mashed up and added to dips.
